Just DO it

Just DO it
With a lot of things in my life I tend to ‘just do it’, I find that waiting until you can execute something exactly means often I won’t do it, after all perfection is the enemy of progress.
That’s how I got started (and let’s be honest) continued on TikTok, I just made a video and posted it, the time of day was irrelevant, the algorithm has never been a beast I’ve tired to tame, besides I think some creators blame the algorithm unfairly… i’m not saying their content is shit buuuuuut it can’t ALWAYS be the algorithm surely.
1. Why?
I have always enjoyed writing but the last time I did it at any length was my English Lit A level, in which I got an A* (waahheyyyy) I also want another platform to share my more nuanced serious thoughts, yes I do have those. TikTok’s are often wilfully misunderstood and nuance can be entirely lost.
2. What?
I want to reach people who deep dive into social/scientific issues, who seen beyond clickbait, beyond gotcha journalism and want to discuss the things that matter in depth. Also those who want to learn. I want to counter misinformation and hate speech, fostering a safe environment that challenges bigotry but also chats shit about popular culture too, I am a Love Island addict and I think thats ok - perhaps an article on the ethical consumption of Love Island soon?!
3. When?
Ha, I dunno babe, roll with it.
This is a picture of me crying at the season finale of Euphoria xoxoxo

Love this. “just did it” myself after reading this. What’s the worst that can happen, ey? She says…scanning for typos
This piece is a literary train wreck. Typos, disconnected sentences, TikTok jargon that doesn't work if you write it down. Maybe you should read more if you want to write.
